Nine Chinese citizens who were deported from Japan and Ecuador in separate cases, arrived in Shanghai over the past two days - some with sad stories to tell.

In one case, a 32-year-old man surnamed Su who was repatriated from Ecuador by air experienced a struggle in the South American country that left him mentally broken.
