Hongkou District police have arrested nine people who robbed men after enticing them back to an apartment with the promise of sex, the district police said yesterday, Shanghai Daily reported.

A member of the gang admitted they had robbed at least 20 men in this way in Shanghai. District police have verified three cases among the 20, in which a total of over 100,000 yuan (US$14,643) was stolen, said a police spokesperson.
