Five leading medical centers will build new branches in the suburbs to help improve health care for residents of the city's outskirts.

Huashan Hospital, Renji Hospital, Shanghai No. 6 People's Hospital, Changzheng Hospital and Ruijin Hospital will expand in Baoshan, Minhang, Nanhui, Pudong and Jiading districts.
