The sale of counterfeit tickets plagues just about every performance and sporting event in Shanghai, experts say, and police warn the public to buy tickets only from legitimate sources.

Shanghai East Asia Tickets Sales said yesterday that 1,353 fake tickets worth around 1.3 million yuan (US$190,413) were collected at 12 concerts at the Shanghai Indoor Stadium and Shanghai Stadium from October 30 to November 16.
