Qingpu District police have detained more than 400 gamblers since they launched a crackdown on illegal gambling in the middle of October.

Police have confiscated gambling fees of more than 310,000 yuan (US$45,385) and 171 gambling machines. Police urge local citizens to report illegal gambling cases.
