Wearing a special cap with built-in electrodes and electronic equipment, a Shanghai Jiao Tong University scientist last Friday drove a virtual car, controlling it just with his mind.

The scientist, taking part in the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the university's Computer Science and Engineering Department, could get the on-screen car to turn right or left, accelerate and slow down ?? all without using his hands.
