Security equipment that can identify wanted criminals and detect poison gas and the presence of radioactive elements will be installed at Metro stations at the 2010 World Expo site, Shanghai Daily reported.

Face-recognition cameras will be set up at ticket barriers to record the faces of every passenger, according to the city's Metro operator.
