A far-reaching fire engine is used to douse a fire at an 18-story office building under construction at the crossing of Kunming and Jiangpu roads yesterday. The fire started on the fifth floor of the Shanghai Kai commercial building as workers were welding, and then spread to the top floor. Firemen rescued more than 20 workers.
