Yesterday saw the start of a trial by local courts in which litigants can file lawsuits online. Parties can submit indictments and relevant materials on the courts' Website www.hshfy.sh.cn.

Whether the lawsuit is accepted will be decided within five working days. Judges said common civil, financial and intellectual property cases can be accepted online.
