More than 50 police officers were sent yesterday to crack down on unlicensed cabs and vans operating around a wholesale lamp market as Shanghai's taxi watchdog expands a three-month citywide campaign.

The lamp market is on Liuying Road, on the border of Hongkou and Zhabei districts.
