The last 17 Shanghai tourists stranded in Bangkok are expected to be home today.

A family that was traveling independently will fly home this morning on a China Eastern flight, said the Shanghai Tourism Administrative Commission yesterday. Fourteen tourists traveling with the Shanghai Citic International Travel Service will arrive in the city on a Dragon Airlines flight this afternoon. The tourists have been stranded in Thailand since last week because of anti-government protest in the country.
