The Shanghai Agricultural Commission yesterday warned farmers to prepare for a cold front, with temperatures predicted to drop by as much as 10 degrees Celsius from today, Shanghai Daily reported.

The commission warned that the low temperatures could damage crops and also forecast strong winds that could damage farm buildings.
