Xuhui District industrial and commercial authorities have ordered a beauty parlor that cheated consumers and bleached half of a woman's face to close down while it is investigated.

A consumer surnamed Tu complained to officials last week, saying the parlor promised to give her a free facial treatment but bleached only half of her face.
