Prawn balls wrapped in cream and fried to golden brown, beefsteak with the
"eight treasures in hot sauce," vegetable crab meat, tofu in chicken soup and
sweet-smelling rice boiled with red Chinese dates.
They might sound like
dishes for a cooking competition, but in fact they are part of a set meal to be
offered to visitors during the World Expo 2010. It will cost 128 yuan
(US$18.82), the same as the price of a meal in a local three-star
hotel.
