Yangpu District police are searching for more than 20 people who allegedly attacked two street vendors with knives and destroyed their illegal stalls with sticks on Anbo Road in the district on Monday afternoon, Shanghai Daily reported.

Police said yesterday they had set up teams for the investigation but the suspects' identities were still unclear.
