Yan Zheng, a doctor at a community health-care center in Pengpu town of Zhabei District, checks a patient. Yan has visited nearby communities by bike since 1995 to send medicine to senior citizens and offer medical help. Some families have accepted him as a friend and given the keys to their homes to him.
