Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng met the Chinese medical team members who have worked in Morocco along with their relatives yesterday. We should follow the spirit of president Hu's address at the meeting of welcoming the Chinese medical workers, and step up efforts to realize the Four Leads and Four Centers in Shanghai, Han said.

Han extended his care and thanked the members and their relatives on behalf of the city government and local residents. In the past 31 years, Shanghai has sent more than 1,200 medical workers in 114 batches to work in Morocco. As our ambassadors, they have greatly contributed to the friendship between China and Morocco, and have gained a high reputation for Shanghai and our country, he added.

Since the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, we need to aid Africa in a deeper sense and enhance the bilateral cooperation to make new achievements. Shanghai will continue to send talented medical workers to advance the development of medical undertakings there, Han articulated.
