Shanghai Wangkai Photography Ltd Co. found a set of precious photos in the company's basement at 378 East Nanjing Road, Xinmin Evening news reported today.

The newly discovered photos reflect Shanghai citizens' lives in the 1920-30s. Pictures of people on yachts and their luxuriant appearances at parties were found.

A batch of well-known film stars like Ruan Lingyu, Zhou Xuan, and Chen Yunshang were also uncovered, whose personal photos and artistic photos are surprisingly well preserved. Some of the film stars' photos will finally be debuted to the world.

The well preserved photos with clear images will become valuable historical materials to the Chinese film industry.
