Crowds of people packed into the city's two train stations yesterday for the
debut of Chinese-made express trains capable of travelling at speeds up to 250
kilometers an hour, Shanghai Daily reported.
The trains won't travel at top speeds until later this year, but that didn't
dampen enthusiasm to be one of the first riders yesterday.
