A 160-meter-high Ferris wheel built in Jiangxi Province by a Shanghai company is undergoing an evaluation before it can replace the London Eye as the worldĄŻs tallest observation wheel in the Guinness Book.

Built by Shanghai Amusement Machine Engineering Co. Ltd in Nanchang City, Capital of Jiangxi Province, the wheel has a height of about 50 stories. It is 25 meters taller than the London Eye, currently the tallest observation wheel in the world, and only cost one-eighth the price to build.

The wheel also serves as a clock and has applied to be the largest clock in the Guinness Book of World Records.
