A passenger who broke a finger after his hand became jammed in a Metro Line 1
train is angered by what he sees as rail inefficiencies, Shanghai Daily
reported.
The injured commuter, surnamed Gu, told the Shanghai Morning Post yesterday
that he didn't sue Metro authorities despite the huge economic loss he expects
to suffer during a three-month recovery period. "However, I still believe it's
the confusion in supervision on the platforms and the shortcomings in the design
of the train that led to the injury," he said.
