Exporters and trading firms are racing to ship goods before the export tax policy changes on Sunday, causing traffic jams to Waigaoqiao Port Zone, police said, Shanghai Daily reported.

Dozens of trade companies hired container trucks to transport goods to Waigaoqiao Port Zone in Pudong New Area, where they will then be exported. Since many container trucks use the Outer Ring Tunnel, they have blocked roads up to four kilometers from the port zone.
