Japanese Princess Hisako, a member of the Imperial family, met Liu Yungeng, a representative of the president of 2007 Special Olympics Organizing Committee and deputy-chief of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai People's Congress last night in Japan.

Princess Hisako and Liu talked about promotion and organization of the Special Olympics.

Princess Hisako praised China's efforts in organizing the Special Olympics and said she hopes the games are a complete success.

The Chinese Embassy in Japan held a celebration banquet after the meeting.
