A ‘temple fair’ displaying various Taiwan products will be held at the Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center in Jiading District from September 29 to October 3.

City residents will have the chance to savor more than 80 kinds of special Taiwan snacks and enjoy an authentic puppet performance given by Taiwan performers at the fair.

The fair also provides Taiwan businessmen an opportunity to explore potential investment programs on the Chinese mainland as officials from various government departments and development zones will participate in the fair to attract funds.

Around 850 Taiwan enterprises have applied to take part in the fair so far, which is expected to attract 220,000 people.

The fair aims to further promote the friendship and cooperation between people across the Taiwan Strait.
