South Korean transsexual pop singer, model and film star Harisu received laser therapy on her facial skin at Shanghai Time Plastic Surgery Hospital on Tuesday. Then she went to Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the next day to take part in a promotional event for a plastic surgery hospital with Chen Lili, a Chinese transsexual model and actor.

Harisu, the stage name of Lee Kyung-eun (born Lee Kyung-yup on February 17, 1975, as a male) underwent sex reassignment surgery in the 1990s. She is now noted for being South Korea's first transgender entertainer and in 2002 became only the second person in Korea to legally change his or her gender. She married boyfriend Micky Jung on May 19, 2007, after dating for two years. Harisu told Chinese media that she gets along very well with her husband, and the couple is planning to adopt a child when their work schedule is not too tight.
