Fake doc jailed

A man who pretended to be a
doctor in order to drug and rob a man was sentenced to 10 and a half years in
jail by Huangpu District People's Court yesterday. Wang Zhiyou, a salesman for a
biotechnology company, pretended to be a doctor to persuade a former client,
surnamed Wang, that he should have a free blood-pressure check. Once Wang
arrived, he tricked his victim into taking two sleeping pills and stole 40,000
yuan (US$5,844) in cash, a mobile phone and watch.
