NBA's 1st 2010-11 slam dunk may swish at Shanghai Expo

THE NBA is expected to kick off its 2010-11 season at the Shanghai World
Expo Performance Center during the World Fair, a senior official in charge of
the facility said yesterday.
The season-opening basketball game might be
held in late October, near the end of the Shanghai 2010 World Expo, Huang Jin,
vice general manger of the Shanghai Expo Arena Co Ltd, told local reporters
gathered at the center's construction site.
