A CITY court yesterday selected 30 cases it said represents the progress
made in protecting intellectual property rights in the past 30 years since
China's reform and opening-up policy began.
"Some of the cases have
aroused wide social attention and set precedents for solving similar cases,"
said Sheng Yongqiang, deputy director of the Shanghai Higher People's Court.
"The cases show that local courts have paid special attention to protecting
intellectual property from at home and abroad."
