Two Hunan Province natives went on trial yesterday for pretending to be "enforcing judges" to cheat banks into transferring money to their accounts.

Liu Xinlin, 32, and Liu Jun, 36, obtained 800,000 yuan (US$116,959) from a Shenzhen bank but failed in another bid for 2.2 million yuan, according to prosecutors.
