Wild mushrooms have left four migrant workers dead and 19 others injured at a construction site in Dalian, Liaoning Province. The victims ate the mushrooms at the canteen of the construction site on July 26, a local newspaper reported yesterday. The next day, they felt poison symptoms. Improper medical treatment at a nearby township hospital was also blamed for the deaths.
