Death toll from SE China bus accident rises to 7

The death toll from yesterday's bus accident in southeastern Fujian province has increased to seven after five critically-injured people died in hospital, local authorities said.
Another 19 injured are receiving treatment in hospital, but six of them are still in a critical condition, said a spokesman with the Sanming expressway traffic police.
The bus overturned at about 6 p.m. Wednesday on the expressway in Sanming City in Fujian, when it was about to enter a tunnel. Two people died at the the site and 24 others were injured, said a spokesman with the Sanming expressway traffic police said.
The bus is registered in central China's Hubei Province and was traveling from Shishi in Fujian to Xiantou in Hubei when the accident occurred, he said, giving no further details.
The expressway links the northwestern city of Yinchuan with the southeastern city of Fuzhou.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
