Food poisoning hospitalizes 45 pupils in southwest China

The pupils in hospital are from Grade One and Grade Six in the Chongzhou
City Experimental Primary School, said the authorities.
They had symptoms of
headache, fever, vomiting, bellyache and laxness since Saturday and were
initially diagnosed with food poisoning, the authorities said.
The pupils had
a lunch in the school on Friday but developed symptoms of food poisoning from
Saturday night and Sunday.
The cause of the food poisoning is being
investigated.
