One man and one woman were killed in a head-on collision between two buses
in Shenzhen, an industrial city in south China that borders Hong Kong,
yesterday.
Another four passengers were injured in the accident at a crossing in Futian
District at 8:50 am.
Local traffic police said the accident had probably been caused by both buses
speeding.
The woman died on the spot, while the man died later in a hospital. The
injured were in stable condition yesterday evening.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is under way.
