President Hu Jintao (right) meets with visiting Vietnamese Prime Minister
Nguyen Tan Dung at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing yesterday. In a
session with Dung, Premier Wen Jiabao said he hoped border issues between the
two nations would be resolved soon. China and Vietnam yesterday signed a series
of agreements, including the establishment of a hotline between the two
governments and cooperation in trade, sanitation, quarantine, people-to-people
exchanges and energy. Dung is in Beijing for an official visit and to attend the
Seventh Asia-Europe Meeting scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday. ¡ªXinhua
