Wei, the Chinese female student, 18, died after falling from the third-floor

intruder. Wei's boyfriend, South Korean (Chris) Tae Wook Han, 20, suffered

an armed intruder who had forced his way into the apartment about an hour
earlier. A consul from the Chinese Consulate-General in Sydney told Xinhua
they were concerned about the case and contacted with both local police and
Wei's college to take care of the case seriously and bring the criminal into
justice. The consul also called on the Chinese students studying in Australia
to be vigilant and come to the consulate-general for help in any emergency
cases. The police are continuing their investigations into Sunday's fall and
are looking for the armed intruder, described as a man aged about 30 with a dark
complexion. Wei and Han were part-way through a course at the Waterloo Study
Center and had planned to enroll at university to study accountancy. Two
other women who were in the apartment with Wei were uninjured and are
helping detectives with their inquiries.
