13/11/2008 15:11

Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping yesterday called on Communist Party of China (CPC) schools to take a pragmatic attitude in both teaching and learning.

Teachers should integrate their learning with practice and work hard to improve their teaching, said Xi, also the head of the CPC Central Committee Party School.

All school activities should be in line with the CPC's disciplines and principles as education bases for first rate government leaders, he said at the opening of the autumn session of the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC.

Schools should better promote CPC theories and guidelines to both leaders and the people, he said.
