Brawl at SW China arcade center leaves five dead: police

Five people were killed and two others were injured in a brawl at an
arcade center in Chongqing in southwest China last night, local police said
today. A dispute between several young men who played in the Milk Way Express
arcade center and the facility's manager, Chen Jianjun, escalated into a melee
at about 10:30 p.m., said a spokesman of the Chongqing Police Bureau. More
than 20 other people, some wielding knives and batons, joined in the dispute,
which led to five deaths. The identities of the dead have not yet been
announced. The police are investigating the incident. Police also today
ordered a public security inspection of all Internet bars and arcade centers in
the city.
