Professional firefighters stationed in Lhasa to better protect cultural relics

Lamas attend a ceremony of the stationing of professional firefighters in the
Monastery of Zhaibung in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous
Region yesterday. Professional firefighters were stationed in three ancient
temples in Tibet--the Monasteries of Sera, Zhaibung and Gandan yesterday,
as the country steps up preservation of Tibetan cultural
