Gas leak leaves seven dead, 10 seriously injured in north China

A gas leak from a blast furnace in a steel plant left seven workers dead
and 10 others injured seriously in a city not far from Beijing this
morning.
Two workers were killed instantly when the accident happened at
about 9 a.m. and five others died after emergency operation failed, said a
spokesman of the Zunhua city government.
