The China Life Insurance Co., the nation's largest life insurer, listed its shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Tuesday at 37 yuan (US$4.74) per share.

The company's listing on the A-share market made it the first Chinese insurer traded on China's domestic stock exchange. China Life shares have been already traded in the United States and in Hong Kong.
