The party scene in Shanghai is hot all year round, but this weekend it reaches spectacular heights as Christmas is celebrated as never before.

Ever since its debut last September at Shanghai Circus World, the multimedia spectacular "Era - Intersection of Time," has been hailed for its perfect blending of traditional Chinese acrobatics with Western forms of entertainment.

If you want to have a close-up look at the performers of the spectacular show, join the special party for 1,000 on Christmas Eve.

The night will begin at 8:30pm with a sumptuous buffet. After dinner, guests are invited to view the magnificent stage production followed by an after-show party.

The leading actors of the show will attend the party and will be happy to chat with guests and maybe share the secrets of their performance. Plus, popular DJs will also be invited to keep the fun level at its highest.

Crowned as "the nation's first-ever super multimedia stage production," the 30-million-yuan (US$3.7 million) show has a long daily run at Shanghai Circus World till the 2010 World Expo.
