A treasure trove of Chinese art
(4/1 09:27) For centuries, traditional Chinese ink-wash painters and Western artists
have been working in parallel. It's difficult to decide which art form is truly
superior, but it can be said that compared with the sophistication of Western
oil paintings, Chinese ink brushworks do seem to be more simple and
straightforward.
Palace art show planned (15/12 07:51) The Shanghai Museum is saving its best show of the year for last. An
exhibition featuring more than 100 precious artworks, some of them on loan from
the Palace Museum in Beijing, will start from December 30.
