More than 600 reporters from around world will attend Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2006, the SCO authority said yesterday.

Several hotels near the media center have been recommended to the reporters.

A special inspection team, consisting of 36 policemen, will be in charge of exit-entry affairs for the charter and private flights. Top quality service will be provided to guests and delegations.

The media center for the summit, located in the Shanghai International Media Center (Oriental Pearl TV Tower), will open on 12 June.
