
Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf waves to people

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf arrived here Tuesday evening for the
upcoming summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), slated for
Thursday.
Pakistan, together with Mongolia, Iran, and India, are observer countries of
the six-member regional organization, which comprises China, Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The presidents of Mongolia and Iran as well as the representative of the
Indian government -- the country's petroleum and natural gas minister -- are
scheduled to arrive in Shanghai on Wednesday.
