More than 200 workers from Shanghai Construction Group yesterday visited the World Expo 2010 exhibition at the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall.

The workers are all currently working on a series of Expo projects including Expo Axis, Expo sample groups, Expo Village and Expo Park.

It is a good chance to see the whole project and know the master plan of the Expo Site, said Kong Liping, who is now working with the Expo Village project.

"I feel lucky to participate in the Expo construction," said Kong. "I'm looking forward to the Expo Site becoming a beautiful landscape in 2010."

Bian Jiong, a senior official with the company, said the trip was organised to give the workers an overview of the Shanghai Expo and the 156-year history of World Expos to enhance their sense of responsibility during the work.

The exhibition, The Path to World Expo -- Retrospective on World Expo 2010 Shanghai China, will run through September 9.
