Beijing-based Crystal CG signed an agreement yesterday with the Bureau of
Shanghai World Expo Coordination to officially become the designated multimedia
design service provider.
Lu Zhenggang, chairman of Crystal CG, said it was a milestone for the company
and said Crystal would contribute to the Expo theme "Better City, Better
Life."
The ceremony was attended by Hong Hao, director of the Bureau of Shanghai
World Expo Coordination, and deputy directors Chen Xianjin and Zhu Yonglei.
Zhu said the Expo attaches great importance to multimedia technologies and
creativity in the information age. He said the Expo welcomes more innovative
media service companies.

organizers - one a promotion, the other a history of 150 years of Expos.
Crystal CG also created the promotional video for the city of Shanghai when
it was bidding for the 2010 World Expo; it produced videos for the China
Pavilion at the World Expo 2005 Aichi.
The company will provide graphic designs and other multimedia services for
the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
