China yesterday published the names of the 21 soccer players who will make up the national team for the 2007 Women's World Cup, Sina.com reported.

The team includes:

Goalkeepers: Zhang Yanru, Han Wenxia, Xu Meishuang

Defenders: Liu Yali, Li Jie, Pu Wei, Zhou Gaoping, Weng Xinzhi, Wang Kun, Zhang Ying

Midfielders: Xie Caixia, Bi Yan, Zhang Tong, Qu Feifei, Pan Lina, Song Xiaoli, Li Dongna

Forwards: Ma Xiaoxu, Han Duan, Liu Sa, Zhang Ouying

The players will gather in Wuhan on September 1 to begin the preparation for the soccer tournament.

The 2007 Women's World Cup is scheduled to run from September 10 to 30 in Shanghai, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Wuhan and Chengdu.

Shanghai will host the opening game of the tournament, matches from the group stages, and the final.
