Shanghai Tourism Festival
This year's Shanghai Tourism Festival runs from September 15 to October 6, featuring a series of activities, including a shopping gala, a dumpling culture exhibition and three musical fireworks shows. More than eight million people from home and abroad are expected to participate in the tourism festival.

Revelers have a fun at the 2007 Shanghai Oktoberfest which opened last night at the Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel. The traditional German beer festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, will last 11 days. It is part of the Shanghai Tourism Festival. - Shanghai Daily
