Dancers from St. Petersburg, Russia, perform at Century Plaza in Nanjing Road E. as part of the Shanghai International Arts Festival, which kicked off yesterday. The first performance was the dance drama "Sound of Dragon" at Shanghai Grand Theater last night. The month-long festival features more than 55 concerts, operas and dance performances from home and abroad, including ballet, a song-and-dance show about Tibetan life and composer Tan Dun's concertos.
