The second session of the 10th Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People's
Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) kicked off at the Shanghai Exhibition
Center yesterday morning.
A total of 688 municipal advisors attended the session where they are
expected to offer their suggestions on the government's work, including Shanghai
Party Secretary Chen Liangyu and Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng.
Other leaders attended the meeting are Gong Xueping, Liu Yungen, Yin Yicui,
Wang Anshun, Wang Wenhui, Feng Guoqin, Zhou Yupeng, Fan Deguan, Wang Zhongwei,
Shen Hongguang, Zhou Muyao, Bao Xinbao, Liu Lunxian, Li Wuwei, Ren Wenyan, Zhang
Shengkun, Zhu Xiaoming, Hu Wei, Yang Xiaodu, Yan Junqi, Jiang Sixian, Yang
Xiong, Zhou Taitong, Tang Dengjie, Teng Yilong, Wu Guangyu, Dai Changyou, Wei
Songpei, Lu Jinping, Han Zheyi, Yang Di, Yan Gongqi, Chen Tiedi and Wang Liping.
Jiang Yiren, chairman of the Shanghai Committee of CPPCC delivered a keynote
speech at the session.
"For this year, we aim at making further contributions to help Shanghai
achieve its major tasks and goals of development," Jiang said.
